Matcha Dew About Nothing

A bold fusion of fresh and earthy. Weber Ranch Vodka anchors this vibrant mix of house-made honeydew syrup, ceremonial matcha, and bright lemon, with a drop of saline for balance. Topped with mint and served on the rocks, it’s a modern, mindful cocktail that’s as visually striking as it is refreshing.

Directions
  • Combine all ingredients in shaker filled with fresh ice.
  • Shake vigorously to chill and combine.
  • Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with fresh mint sprig.

Matcha Recipe:

  • 1 tsp (2 grams) of matcha powder (adjust to taste)
  • 4 oz of hot water (approximately 175°F or 80°C; not boiling)

Instructions:

  • Sift the matcha powder: Use a fine mesh strainer to sift the matcha into a bowl or cup to prevent clumps.
  • Heat the water: Boil water and let it cool slightly to around 175°F. Boiling water can make the matcha taste bitter.
  • Combine matcha and water: Add a small amount of the hot water (about 1 oz) to the matcha powder. Use a matcha whisk (chasen) or a small frother to mix it into a smooth paste. This step prevents lumps.
  • Whisk: Gradually add the remaining hot water (3 oz). Whisk in a zigzag motion (an "M" or "W" shape) until frothy and smooth.
