FAQs

Our Vodka

What is Weber Ranch Vodka made from?

Better ingredients make better vodka. While most vodkas are made from wheat, corn or potato and take months to produce, Weber Ranch Vodka is crafted from Blue Weber Agave which slowly matures under the warm Mexican sun for about 7 years. Our vodka is made from natural ingredients, only 100% Blue Weber Agave and pure water from deep in Texas’ Trinity Aquifer. Weber Ranch Vodka is gluten-free and additive-free, with zero carbs and zero fat.

Does it taste like vodka or more like tequila?

That’s the beauty of this spirit, because it’s crafted from Blue Weber Agave, it’s equally appealing to people who enjoy vodka and people who appreciate tequila, and pairs seamlessly with cocktails across a variety of categories.

Is agave vodka better than other vodkas made from wheat, corn, or potatoes?

We think so. The quality of any spirit starts with its ingredients. Blue Weber Agave is truly a gift from Mother Nature. From garden to glass, we are naturally 100% gluten, carb, fat, and additive free, yielding a superior spirit that simply put, is better in every way.

Should Weber Ranch Vodka be chilled? What is the best way to drink Weber Ranch Vodka?

The way you choose to enjoy Weber Ranch Vodka is entirely up to you. Our vodka is delicious chilled or at room temperature, in a martini, Ranch Water, on the rocks, or in any number of cocktails from classic to innovative. Browse our collection of cocktail recipes we designed to match beautifully with our vodka.

Does vodka go bad?

Because Weber Ranch Vodka is free of any additives, if stored properly in a cool, dark place, an unopened bottle of Weber Ranch Vodka can be stored almost indefinitely. But why wait that long to enjoy it?

How many drinks are in a bottle of Weber Ranch Vodka?

A 750ml bottle of Weber Ranch Vodka will yield about 16 or 17 drinks (measured at 1.5oz each.)

What sizes does Weber Ranch Vodka come in?

Weber Ranch Vodka is available in convenient 750ml, 1L, and 1.75L bottles.

How is Weber Ranch Vodka produced?

It takes about 7 years from garden to glass to create Weber Ranch Vodka (versus just months for vodka and other unaged spirits made from wheat or corn) because that’s generally how long we must wait for agave to mature. We hand select and distill our agave in Jalisco, Mexico, before importing to the Weber Ranch Distillery in Muenster, Texas, where it is further distilled in proprietary copper pot and column stills, filtered, and bottled under the skillful watch of our master distiller Antonio Rodriguez. Our exclusive process combines methods used to craft tequila with the complexity of transforming agave into a premium vodka of extraordinary character, with zero additives, ensuring a clean, pure taste.

What ingredients are in Weber Ranch Vodka?

Where is Weber Ranch Vodka made?

The Weber Blue Agave used in our premium vodka was grown, harvested, and distilled in Jalisco, Mexico, and then distilled again and bottled at the Weber Ranch Distillery in the historic North Texas town of Muenster. That’s why we say Weber Ranch Vodka is “Born in Jalisco. Crafted in Texas.”

What is Blue Weber Agave?

Blue Weber Agave (Agave tequilana Weber Azul), one of the hundreds of species of agave native to North America (mostly Mexico), is named for Frédéric Albert Constantin Weber, a French botanist who first cataloged this specific species of agave in 1902 during an expedition to Mexico. Weber Ranch is exclusively distilled from Blue Weber Agave (the same type of agave that is used to produce tequila).

Our Package

Is the bottle shape significant?

It is! Our signature bottle is inspired by the Blue Weber Agave piña and flowering stalk that emerges as a sign of maturity.

What’s so special about the cap?

Weber Ranch Vodka bottles are sealed with an easy-to-open cork stopper embossed with a “WR 1902” emblem. Our cork is a micro-agglomerated molded high-quality cork which is created from ground up low-density granules of natural cork bark, which protects the liquid inside. Plus, if you flip the WR coin that sits in the stopper cap, you’ll find a surprise.

What is “F.A.C. Weber 1902” on the back of the bottle?

The “1902” on our label and bottle is a nod to French botanist Frédéric Albert Constantin Weber who first cataloged this specific species of agave in 1902 during an expedition to Mexico. That’s where the name “Blue Weber” originates.

What is the best martini?

What is Ranch Water?

A “Ranch Water” cocktail, a drink that traces its roots to Texas, typically combines fresh squeezed lime juice, tequila, and seltzer. The Weber Ranch Water substitutes Weber Ranch Vodka for tequila, which, dare we say, improves this cocktail immensely. Here’s a link to our Weber Ranch Water recipe.
